0 THE FOOL

Upright Interpretation
Trust your instincts, be carefree, be free, even be lacking in thought and discipline.  In fact anything is possible a this time, and the step you take into the unknown with these unexpected influences, may be life changing and bring new experiences.
Reversed Interpretation
This implies immaturity, recklessness, irresponsibility, acting foolishly, unwise action, disregarding consequences, not trusting your instincts of what you have been told to do.

1. THE MAGICIAN
Upright Interpretation
This represents and instigates creative power and purpose.  All the potential imagination and elements are there for you to make things happen in your life.  You possess all the skills necessary to direct this creative energy into the areas which need them.
Reversed Interpretation
This  implies negativity and suggests you are at odds with the world.  You are lacking in confidence and creativity.  You are also misusing the skills you possess, directing them towards trickery, cunning and deceit.

2 THE HIGH PRIESTESS
Upright Interpretation
The represents mysticism, hidden , subconscious or secret knowledge which is waiting to be awakened and revealed.  This is a time offering insight, when you ‘know’ without being told.
Reversed Interpretation
It may be your character is secretive or reserved and your feelings and hidden potential are being suppressed.   Also you may be mistakenly interpreting the outcome of possible events because of a breakdown in communication.

3 THE EMPRESS
Upright Interpretation
This represents the earth mother, domestic happiness, comfort and fulfilment — the female life-giving force.  This is a positive period for growth.
Reversed Interpretation
This implies dependence and being over-protective,   It could be taking mother-love to the extreme, in which you may feel the pain of loss.  There may be pressure on funds, which may lead to a time of temporary hardship.  You may have been swayed by emotion rather than reason.

4 THE EMPEROR
Upright Interpretation
This represents life’s structure and control in its positive aspects; will-power, ambition, authority, law, strength, courage, rules and dominance.  Often it means something you have to do.
Reversed Interpretation
This implies benevolence, clemency and pity, but also rigidity.  I can also mean that responsibility has been denied leaving ambition unfulfilled and a sense of inferiority remaining.

5 THE HIEROPHANT
Upright Interpretation
This represents wisdom, intelligence, asceticism and inspiration.  Sound and trustworthy advice will be sought and given.  This can also mean receiving and accepting blessings, guidance and healing.  Good intentions and discipline are also required.
Reversed Interpretation
This implies bad or unreliable advice or misinformation from someone who should know better, causing confusion in your beliefs.

6 THE LOVERS
Upright Interpretation
This represents love, choice, youthful indecision, hesitation and instability.  An important decision may have to be made concerning an affair of the heart.  There may be two possibility to be considered.
Reversed Interpretation
This implies a broken romance or friendship, sexual immaturity, inconstancy and heartache.

7 THE CHARIOT
Upright Interpretation
This represents triumph, success and victory.  You know where you are going and how you are going to get there.  There is a controlled emotion through strength of will, which enables you to put a block on the feelings if they stand in the way of your ambition and drive.  This card can literally mean some form of transport.
Reversed Interpretation
This implies loss of will and direction which causes chaos in your life.  This loss of control will give you the feeling of aimlessness possibly leading to discouragement, inner conflict, quarrels or defeat.  There may be delays in connection with transport.

8 STRENGTH
Upright Interpretation
This represents strength and courage and promises success to those who can direct their energy, willpower and natural gifts into enterprises which will bring positive results,
Reversed Interpretation
This implies that there is fruitless striving and dissipated energy leading to weariness, pessimism and possible ill health.  The result could be weakness, lack of interest and worst of all wasted effort.

9 THE HERMIT
Upright Interpretation
This represents the need for prudence wisdom, and patience.  This may be a time for an inner journey, aided by mediation, reflection or soul searching. taking time out to seek the answer to your question.  Perhaps asking ‘is this really what I want?’ A need for discretion may be necessary.  This may be a time when caution and watchfulness should be applied to hidden enemies whether they are rivals, competitors or opponents.
Reversed Interpretation
This implies excessive caution or timidity, even loneliness and isolation.  Perhaps you have closed your mind to the possibilities available to you, refusing any advice on offer.  This may be the result of a lack of wisdom or an insight into your present situation.  It may be you are walking around like a lost soul.

10 THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE
Upright Interpretation
This represents karma.  It can mean that a period of good fortune after bad luck is indicated.  Now you may be aware of your own destiny.  The Wheel is turning.  You are making your own luck.
Reversed Interpretation
This card implies unlucky or negative influences.   Take control of the Wheel rather than let it turn on its own.  Bring back your good fortune.

11 JUSTICE
Upright Interpretation
This represents impartiality, rationality, balanced judgment, integrity and arbitration.  It suggests that right is on your side in this instance and a just decision will be made in this matter.
Reversed Interpretation
This may mean bad judgment or legal trouble.  It may suggest an unreasonable or unjust decision will be the result of a situation.  It may imply that you are the subject of a biased accusation or prejudiced treatment.  In other words you are being treated very unfairly.  You do not deserve this.

12 THE HANGED MAN
Upright Interpretation
This represents self-denial, changes in fortune, or perhaps your patience and endurance will be put to the test.  It means that when you come face to face with the reality of the situation in which you are in, you find something else which will prove of greater value to you.  It may be that you have to sacrifice your previous beliefs or even way of life, but it is a time of renewal and your life will go forward, with greater understanding.
Reversed Interpretation
This card implies that you will not face up to the reality of a situation and there may be a failure in coming to terms with this.  It may also mean that a sacrifice you have made may be wasted.

13 DEATH
Upright Interpretation
This represents transformation.  It may suggest that time is running out, or has run out and you are forced into action.  In fact life gives you a nudge or a push.  Death usually means a transition of some kind, or a clearing out to make way for something new.  In a sense it suggests a reappraisal.  It implies that there is a loss of some kind and with it the inevitability of change
Reversed Interpretation
This implies that something you have been clinging on to has to be given up.  There is a fundamental fear of change, even a refusal to believe that the inevitable must happen.  Without change there will be no renewal, only stagnation.

14 TEMPERANCE
Upright Interpretation
This represents vitality, life fruitfulness and restraint.  It suggests that you keep to the middle path, try to keep calm and maintain a balance in your emotions.
Reversed Interpretation
This implies the loss of restraint causing imbalance in your emotions.  Any effort you make is unstable and a different approach will need to be considered.

15 THE DEVIL
Upright Interpretation
This represents the obsessional side of you, which is chained to excesses.  It is associated with temptation through weakness of will and the desire to want.  If resisted it will be for your greater good.
Reversed Interpretation
This implies temptation, which is difficult to resist.  You may even feel that you deserve all you get at the moment. However this situation will soon resolve itself and the influence is passing.

16 THE TOWER
Upright Interpretation
This represents sudden calamity, shock, change and realisation.  It can mean pent up emotion causing total frustration and annoyance.  When this is released you will find liberation.
Reversed Interpretation
This implies sudden change, shock, realization and with it vulnerability.  The problems still have to be sorted out — it is not over yet.

17 THE STAR
Upright Interpretation
Hope, optimism, a sense of purpose and a positive outlook comes with this card.  The water symbolises emotion and the regeneration of the source of life;  This star will guide you through any uncertainty.
Reversed Interpretation
This card implies difficulties, pessimism, loss and lack of hope.  You will be feeling disconsolate and your star’s light will be dimmed for a little while, but you will soon feel positive again.

18 THE MOON
Upright Interpretation
This represents doubts, fears, deception, obscurity and concealed dangers, even a surge of emotion. When this card appears there is uncertainty and changeability regarding he future which causes frustration and anxiety.
Reversed Interpretation
The Moon is a card of disillusionment, confusion, upset emotions and deception, and when reversed it becomes more intense. Therefore you may not be seeing things as clearly as you might at this time and deceitfulness may not be of your making, but you may be involved within it, either with your knowledge or without it.

19 THE SUN
Upright Interpretation
This represents happiness, peace, positive energy, warmth and contentment.  It could possibly relate to a happy marriage or matters concerning children.  The sun rules the day, so all matters can be dealt with positively and with clarity of vision.
Reversed Interpretation
This implies happiness and even being reversed it still bodes well.

20 JUDGEMENT
Upright Interpretation
This represents a judgement of what has gone before and you must take account of past performance before deciding on a future course of action.  There is usually a decision to be made, which may be far reaching for a new beginning.
Reversed Interpretation
This implies an inability to accept past mistakes resulting in poor performance and a lack of good judgement.

21 THE WORLD
Upright Interpretation
This represent ultimate success, satisfaction, accomplishment and the realization that you have achieved your goal.  It may suggest a natural ending of this phase in your life with a new period beginning.
Reversed Interpretation
This implies completion but perhaps with certain constraints, often physical or material still operating.
